A 'magical' confetti flower field will soon bring a sea of bright colours as summer enters full bloom and the spectacular sight can be appreciated in all its glory.
The Confetti Flower Field at Wyke Manor in Wick, near Pershore is a sight to behold, described as magical by those who have witnessed it in full flower.
Now the Real Flower Petal Confetti Company has shared these incredible photos from last summer as they reveal the best time to enjoy the display this year.
The Confetti Flower Field will return in late June and early July, bringing the brightest hues of the summer to this vibrant corner of Worcestershire but organisers say to check nearer the time for opening dates to make sure. However, preparations are already underway to welcome the first visitors of the season.
Sally Young, of The Real Flower Petal Confetti Company, said: "We have just started planning this year’s event, and currently we are on track to open at the end of June/early July.
"But, probably much like everyone else, the flowers would quite like the rain to stop and some warmth and sunshine now please!
"We have already had lots of enquiries from people wanting to visit. People are keen to come back, and don’t want to miss it. It is a very special place. It is so unusual to be surrounded by so much colour, people really love it."
Growing flowers, like growing crops, 'can be a difficult thing' say the organisers as 'farming is at the mercy of the weather'.
A spokesperson said on the official website: "Consequently, we only announce our open dates when we are confident that the flowers are happy and on track.
"This is usually in the late springtime. Please follow us on social media – Facebook & Instagram – or join the mailing list and you’ll be the first to hear the flower field news as it is announced."
The flower petals ultimately become wedding confetti.
