The MP for Mid Worcestershire paid a visit to a local business that has earned a spot in a national awards final.

Nigel Huddleston dropped by at Claire Dyson Equine Water Treadmill and Rehabilitation Centre.

The firm is a finalist in the Rural Enterprise category of the Countryside Alliance awards.

Claire Dyson's centre in Cleeve Prior specialises in providing care, training, and rehabilitation for horses across various disciplines.

These include show jumping, racing, evening and dressage.

Set over 150 acres of Worcestershire countryside, Claire Dyson's training centre boasts state-of-the-art facilities.

Key among them is an equine water treadmill and a room dedicated to salt therapy.

It has secured a position as a finalist in the Midlands section of the Countryside Alliance Awards, competing for recognition in the Rural Enterprise category.

Mr Huddleston said: "It was great to see the fantastic work that Claire and the team do.

"I was lucky enough to get to see the water treadmill in action and watch two horses on the gallops."

He added: "The Countryside Alliance Awards are highly prized and extremely competitive.

"I wish Claire and her team the very best of luck in the awards."
