From Sunday, March 31, the current frequency of service from Moreton to Cheltenham, via Stow and Bourton, will increase from 90 minutes to hourly on weekdays and Saturdays, with additional buses during peak hours.
The route is also expanding to Chipping Norton, improving connections from Oxfordshire and offering easier access to rail services for its residents.
A noteworthy enhancement is the coordination of bus times with train services at Moreton station, enabling car-free days out and simplifying commutes to Oxford, Reading, Worcester, and London.
Moreover, a year-round Sunday service, operating every two hours, will replace the current summer-only offering.
Additional features include the launch of competitive value season tickets, a new website, and an app for passengers.
The adjustments within the Bourton route are aimed to aid those commuting to and from the growing Industrial Park.
Pulhams' managing director, Alex Chutter, said: "This is excellent news for bus users and for the communities on the whole route.
"It will enable more people travel sustainably for work, education and leisure, helping connect communities and support the economy.
“It is a wonderful way to mark the 90th anniversary of Pulhams operating this vital route and we are grateful to Gloucestershire County Council for securing BSIP+ funding that made the wide-ranging improvements possible.”
