The A417 Missing Link Project has reached its next phase with ongoing major construction works.
National Highways are working to excavation a new section of road from the Air Balloon roundabout in Birdlip.
Occurring away from the existing route, the strategy aims to limit disruption as much as possible.
All removed materials will be repurposed to reduce the project's carbon footprint.
Nightly closures between the roundabout and the A46 Brockworth junction began on Monday (March 11), and will continue until Friday (March 15) from 9pm to 6am each night.
A diversion is available via the A46, A40, A435 and A436.
