A PERSON has died on the tracks near to Gloucester Railway Station this morning (Wednesday).
Police received reports of the incident at 6:50am about a casualty on the tracks near Gloucester Railway Station.
Paramedics also attended the site of the incident where the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Their death is not thought to be suspicious.
British Transport Police said: "British Transport Police received a report shortly before 6.50am today (13 March) to a casualty on the tracks near Gloucester Railway Station.
"Paramedics also attended however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is being investigated but is not thought to be suspicious."
Cotswold Journal has also approached Southern West Ambulance Service for a comment.
