Cotswold Friends is introducing a variety of community activities aimed at older and vulnerable residents this spring.

The charity, which works to ensure older people are not isolated and support their independent living, is running a range of activities, varying from lunch clubs to walking football and singing.

Alongside these, the organisation will be running four Men in Sheds projects across the North Cotswolds.

One of the highlights of the charity's roster of offerings is the community garden at Stow-on-the-Wold Surgery.

Set to reopen at the end of March, the garden is designed to be disabled-access friendly with the aim of allowing everyone to participate.

An addition to the garden is the Memorial Rose Garden, a serene place to retreat, reflect, and remember loved ones.
