The hotel’s restaurant is praised for its “hearty dishes” while the hotel itself is said to have “relaxed” lounges.

One reviewer said: “The welcome and the quality of food was outstanding! The confit duck pastille, venison loin and poached pear among others were so delicious, amazing cuisine and chef in amazing surroundings!
“All the care was given to enhance our confort and nothing was too much for all the staff we have encountered! Outstanding quality and attention for detail.”
Another praised the finishing touches to their room, writing: “A delightful, elegant and luxurious country house hotel. Warm, welcoming and polite staff, comfortable lounges and delicious food.
“The added touch of a Christmas tree in our room made our stay very special and memorable. This was our second visit and we can’t wait to return.”
