The Cotswolds and its surrounding national landscapes have been chosen for a new mentoring programme aimed at farmers desiring a more sustainable approach.
Initiated by Pasture for Life, the Pasture and Profit in Protected Landscapes programme provides free access to events and mentoring for farmers in the Cotswolds, Chilterns and North Wessex Downs.
The programme's goal is to increase farm profits by integrating grazing animals into farming practices.
The scheme's first event will take place on Tuesday, December 5 from 2 to 7pm at FAI Farms in Wyndham, Oxfordshire.
