A festive light trail will return to a Cotswolds castle.
The ever-popular Spectacle of Light will return to the grounds of Sudeley Castle, which is an hour's drive from Worcester, with a new light trail running from November 24 until December 30.
The Spectacle of Light has been delighting thousands of visitors in the grounds of Sudeley Castle for almost 10 years.
Helping transport visitors to a joyously festive wonderland each winter, with expertly designed installations and themed immersive illuminations.
This year’s theme is The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, which will take visitors on a magical moonlit journey following the characters Dorothy, Toto, the Lion, Scarecrow and Tinman, as they try to find the Emerald City without encountering the Wicked Witch.
Visitors will weave their way around the grounds guided by thousands of beautiful lights illuminating the trees, historic ruins and the castle itself.
Discover the Light Wave on the Mulberry Lawn, the flickering Fire Flowers of the Queens garden and the columns of light in front of the Castle.

Adults can enjoy a mulled wine as they wander through the grounds, while little ones can enjoy a warming hot chocolate.
You can tuck into doughnuts and street food at the Castle Terrace, and even pick up a Christmas present or two from the gift shop before heading home.
Nic Beeby, founder of Specatcle of Light, said: “This year’s illuminated light trail at the stunning Sudeley Castle is inspired by the magic and memories of the classic tale The Wizard of Oz.
“Follow us into the illuminated world of Oz and down the yellow brick road, to meet well known characters along the trail, all set within the majestic grounds of one of the UK’s most atmospheric castles.”
