Diddly Squat Farm Shop is set to make a return to Silverstone Festival during the bank holiday weekend in August.
TV personality Jeremy Clarkson is behind the barn shop near Chipping Norton created originally as a by-product of his Clarkson’s Farm show on Amazon Prime.
Last summer, Diddly Squat branched out with its first-ever pop-up shop at the motorsport event and visitors this year can visit a bar which will be selling Clarkson’s Hawkstone beer.
When is Silverstone Festival 2023?

How to buy tickets to Silverstone Festival
If you’d like to access the Foodie Fest, which also features an artisan market plus celebrated chefs on the Silverstone Kitchen Live Stage, it’s included in the admission price.
Tasting Tent masterclasses are available as ticket add-ons and you can find out more about the event and book your tickets via the Silverstone Festival website.
Clarkson and his partner Lisa Hogan have featured in a short, light-hearted film which sees Hogan trying to prepare a sandwich using only locally produced items from Diddly Squat Farm Shop while travelling at speed around the Silverstone circuit.
Before the challenge, Clarkson claimed that Hogan can barely make a sandwich while standing up in a kitchen but she was keen to give it a go.
Hogan put a helmet on, grabbed her sandwich ingredients and jumped into the passenger seat of classic racing sportscar specialist INRacing’s 1953 Fraser Nash Targa Florio before setting off.
Hogan managed to defy the odds and despite having a few dodgy moments, made a well-assembled sandwich.
“It turns out I’m actually a bit of a dab hand when it comes to fast food!” she joked afterwards.
She added: “It was a bit hairy scary at times but nothing a swift Diddly Squat gin and fruit juice won’t cure!”
Hogan then turned her attention to what’s in store for next month’s Festival, saying: “We had such fun last year and now – with Hawkstone on tap, too – we’re even more excited to be coming back again at the end of August.
“As well as Jeremy’s really rather refreshing beer, we’ll have lots and lots of lovely Diddly Squat produce and merchandise on offer and we are all revved up and ready to go. Our team is really excited to be back!”
The Diddly Squat Farm Shop has moved to a new central location right at the heart of Silverstone Festival.
