The annual Cogges Beer and Cider Festival returns bigger and better than ever this weekend.

Now in its ninth year - following a pandemic break - the brew-fest is a family-friendly afternoon with a BBQ and a fantastic line-up of live music until late.

There are 32 craft beers and 10 ciders on offer, sourced from local artisan breweries.

These are Hook Norton Brewery, Battledown Brewery, Loose Canon Brewery, XT Brewery, Virtue Brewing, Tap Social Movement, Little Ox Brewery, Oxford Brewery, Stroud Brewery, Church Hanbrewery, Tutts Clump, Cotswold Cider and Hitchcock.

There is also a summer bar serving Pimms, wine and bubbly.

Entry includes a commemorative glass, Festival Guide with tasting notes and two free drink tokens.

There will be croquet, Aunt Sally, Splat the Rat, Hook a Duck, a raffle and face-painting plus live music.

The acts taking to the stage include The BritPop Band (9pm), Genevieve Miles and Band (8pm), Tom Wells (7pm), Torrin (6pm), The Jerichos (5pm), Quartermelon (4pm), Matt Russ (3pm) and Buttercross Ukulele Group (2pm).

Charlbury Morris will be dancing in the farmyard at 2.30pm and the event will be broadcast live on Witney Radio.

The festival is a fundraiser for Cogges Heritage Trust.

Organisers have thanked the community for their support ahead of the weekend.
