Fantasy fans flocked to Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire for live music and fun earlier this month.
Poor weather caused the Saturday of Fantasy Forest Festival to be cancelled - but organisers made up for lost time with a bumper Sunday.
Steampunks, fairies, pirates and superheroes all - eventually - enjoyed a programme of live music, unique entertainment and unforgettable experiences.
Because of rain and heavy winds, the festival delayed its opening on Friday, July 16 and ended up cancelling the Saturday, sending many campers home.
It eventually opened with a limited programme on the Saturday evening and then packed in as many events into the Sunday as possible.
Pirates, knights, elfs and orcs all descend on the sleepy, picturesque Cotswold village once a year for this special celebration, now in its fourth year.
The Film Orchestra, boasting 70 talented musicians, performed well known music from films, TV shows and games, including scores from Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, Jurassic Park, Toy Story, Ghostbusters, James Bond and more.
Illustrator Anna Stokes met fans as well as taking part in talks and workshops.
Four pirate-themed bands played live, including Ye Banished Privateers, a popular pirate band from Sweden.
The Historical Living Company also took guests on a daring piratical discovery with captivating storytelling and energetic pirate display fights.
There was plenty for visitors to get involved in, including lightsaber workshops, belly dancing classes, an orc bootcamp and poi spinning (a traditional Māori performing art).
Little ones enjoyed creative craft sessions and hoola hooping over at the Halfling Meadow children’s area, while older kids and adults young at heart learnt how to battle wild beasts and monsters, discovering their supernatural abilities like Geralt of Rivia in the Witcher Training groups.
