The operation was carried out over seven shifts by Road Policing teams from Bicester and Abingdon.

They also issued over 65 traffic offence reports for mobile phone use, no seatbelt, speeding, careless driving and no insurance

Five uninsured vehicles were seized by the team and they recovered three stolen vehicles.

A Thames Valley Police statement at the time said: "The roads policing teams at Abingdon and Bicester are coming to the end of their set of seven shifts, and they are looking forward to some well earned rest days."
