HUNDREDS of aircrafts have been swooping into the area for this year’s Royal International Air Tattoo despite wind and rain.
Aircraft and enthusiasts - including members of the royal family - have been arriving from all over the country and the world for the three-day aviation extravaganza at RAF Fairford.
Organisers have confirmed day three is expected to go ahead as planned, with improved weather expected after stormy conditions
Several displays were cancelled due to bad weather on Friday while Saturday's main event was grounded amidst heavy winds.
We've put together a gallery of some amazing images from the tattoo from the first two days - Friday and Saturday.
Local photographer Ian Lloyd Graham said: “I went to RIAT on Friday hopefully to get some good images of the arriving aircraft and flying display… I needed a boat!
“I met up with friends and at least we had cover from the incessant rain that persisted all day.
“I did manage to get some photos but alas the bad weather forced some flying to be cancelled!”
