A bus company that operates across Oxfordshire will increase its fares from June 25.
Day tickets on Stagecoach buses will be an extra 25p and seven day tickets will cost £1 more.
But the £2 cap on single bus fares will remain until October.

The government introduced this cap to help people with the cost of living crisis.

A spokesperson for Stagecoach said: “We’re having to make some changes to our ticket prices from Sunday 25th June.
“We understand the cost-of-living pressures our customers face, and we realise that fare increases are not welcome however our operating costs continue to rise and changes are necessary to mitigate these.
“No-one likes it when prices go up, so we’ve done our best to keep the increases as low as possible.”
A new evening ticket is also being introduced by Stagecoach for passengers travelling between 7pm and 4am.
EveningRider tickets will be 50 per cent cheaper than the daytime equivalent.
The new tickets will be available purchase from the bus driver or on the app.
