A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a crash on a main road through the Cotswolds.
Police have confirmed that a man in his 50s has died following a crash on the A429 near Chedworth.
The crash, shortly before 1.15pm on Sunday (May 14), involved a motorbike, a BMW and a Skoda.
This happened near The Stump pub.
The next of kin of the motorcyclist, who was from the Oxford area, have been informed, as has the coroner.
No one else was injured.
Meanwhile, the road was closed between Cirencester and Northleach until this morning (May 15) while an investigation took place.
Gloucestershire Constabulary is now looking for any witnesses who they have not already spoken with to get in touch.
