Officers are appealing for witnesses of a collision involving two cars on the M5 junction 11 slip road at the end of last month.
Police were called shortly after 6.30am on Tuesday 28 March with a report that a dark coloured vehicle, believed to be a Volkswagen Passat, had collided with a black Mini causing it to spin and collide with the crash barrier.
This took place on the slip road joining onto the northbound carriageway from Cheltenham/Gloucester.
The driver of the dark coloured vehicle failed to stop to check on the welfare of the Mini driver or to provide details and continued onto the motorway.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are now asking the driver of the vehicle to make contact and give an account of what happened.
As well as this, they are asking anyone who witnessed the incident and hasn't yet spoken to officers or who has dashcam footage to come forward.
