A visit from the real star of Clarkson's Farm brought a boost to fire crews fundraising with a charity car wash.
Chipping Norton Fire Station raised a whopping £2,068.09 for The Firefighters Charity with the event last weekend.
They thanked the "amazing communities in and around Chipping Norton for their generous donations" including Kaleb Cooper for once again supporting us all day.
It is not known whether he took his “dream car” his Nissan 350z, which he showed to Jeremy Clarkson on the show when he first bought it, for a spruce up.
Senior managers GM Cox, SM Hollis, SM Crone helped with the brushes while the crews at Chipping Norton and Charlbury put in the elbow grease, supported by family members who either helped, fed them "or let their family member disappear off all day to scrub cars!"
Mr Cooper, who is Chippy born and bred, also helped the station on Burford Road last August with a charity car wash in aid of the Horton Hospital and the FFC.
The station posted on Facebook: "This support is why we say the Fire Service is like a second family."
