Bourton’s new pub has finally opened following a huge refurbishment.
The Willow in Bourton has officially opened in the former home of De La Haye’s Tearoom.
Acquired by national pub chain Fuller’s last year, the prominent building at the end of the village’s high street has undergone a transformation.
The pub’s new manager, Tom Carty, can’t wait to get into the flow of things.
He said: “I am so excited to finally be opening the doors of The Willow.
“It feels like it’s been a long time coming – months of preparation means my team and I are more than ready for this."

Mr Carty continued: “We had a couple of very successful dry run events – which were open to the local community and other special guests – so I can’t wait to show off The Willow to the rest of the world.
“The pub is the perfect setting for tourists and locals alike – whether you’re coming for a drink, or a bite to eat.
“Everyone is welcome at The Willow – so come along with friends, family, children, dogs – we have something for everyone.”
De La Haye’s Tearoom closed down at the start of the pandemic in 2020 and the Grade II listed property has been left empty ever since.

The Willow features a restaurant area as well as a large outdoor dining area by the River Windrush.
The restaurant will serve seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, such as Bibury Farm baked trout.
Sandwiches, Sunday roasts and a children’s menu are also available, while guests will be able to tuck into a selection of cakes from 11am each day.
Alongside the main bar area there is a small snug area, offering a more “intimate” setting, say Fullers.
The bar is stocked with a range of premium wines, spirits, craft beers and fresh cask ales.
Fred Turner, Fuller’s Retail Director, said: “I am delighted to be opening The Willow – a beautiful new pub in an equally stunning location.
“Our Manager, Tom, and his team are great assets to the Fuller’s family and have worked tirelessly to ensure guests at The Willow have an outstanding experience.
“From a warm welcome to an excellent selection of food and drink, all served with impeccable customer service – The Willow is truly a fantastic pub.”
