Jeremy Clarkson has hit back at James May on Twitter claiming his former Top Gear co-host knows nothing about farming.
Mr May recently took to the social media platform to mock farm produce.
He wrote: “Is all that sourdough and spelt b**lox over yet? I fancy a piece of bread.”
Mr Clarkson replied to the tweet with “Oh do f**k off.”

Mr Clarkson proceeded to reply to people defending Mr May in the comments.
He replied to one user saying: “James is not a man who understands this kind of thing.
“He likes Spam.”
To another he wrote: “'James is not across the problems of farming.”
The spat comes following a comment Mr May made in 2021 when he labelled farming “big gardening” after he was asked if he would help out at Diddly Squat Farm.
He said: “I don't want to do farming myself because I think that farming is just big gardening, and gardening is one of the things I don't do at home.”
The pair also clashed in December 2022 over Mr Clarkson’s controversial column about Meghan Markle where he described hating the former Suits star on a “cellular level.”
Mr May, who presented Top Gear on the BBC with Mr Clarkson before they moved to The Grand Tour, told Martha Kearney on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “To be brutally honest, I didn’t read the thing because I was away. Is that a terrible thing to say?

“Somebody pointed out to me that he said something like ‘all people my age think the same way’ – well, I would like to go on the record and say I don’t. I’m only a couple of years younger than him.”
After Mrs Kearney read out parts of the article, Mr May replied: “Yes, I wouldn’t have written that. I think it sounds a little bit too creepy, but I’m also very much in favour of free speech and allowing the haters to hate so we can see what they have to say.”
Season two of the 62-year-old’s hit show Clarkson’s Farm was released on Amazon Prime Video on February 10.

The latest season has featured clashes between Mr Clarkson and West Oxfordshire District Council over planning applications to extend Diddly Squat Farm.
On February 14, West Oxfordshire District Council released a statement defending themselves over allegations they had a personal vendetta against Mr Clarkson.
But the statement itself received a backlash on Twitter with users defending the former Top Gear star.
One wrote: “Absolute waffle.
“I get there’s two sides to every story, but every council is the same.
"They go above and beyond when it comes to shafting any business but never go the same distance when it comes to improving their local areas."
