Police have confirmed that they will be escorting a series of abnormal loads (modular housing units) in to Stockwells on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week (commencing Monday, February 27).
The units require the police escort as they are five metres wide.
The loads will enter the county on the A429 from Warwickshire, turning left on to the A44 and then right in to their final destination of Stockwells.
Police have said that the movements are expected to begin around mid-morning each day and will be finished by late afternoon.
Traffic disruption is expected to be kept to a minimum, but motorists are advised to avoid this route during the times or plan their journey times accordingly.
Additional movements over the same route are also expected to follow in the coming weeks.
