An unlicensed drink driver from the Cotswolds has been disqualified after running a red light.
Harry Burton, of Badgers Crescent in Shipston, was fined and disqualified from driving pleading guilty to running a red light while drunk and without a licence.
The 21-year-old was caught on January 14 of this year in Cheltenham driving an Audi A3 along Promenade whilst more than double the legal limit.
He was found to have 82 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of his breath and was not in possession of a licence.
The limit is 35 microgrammes.
On the same day, Burton failed to comply with a red light by Imperial Square in Cheltenham.
He pleaded guilty to the three charges on February 2 at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court and was fined £392.
Burton will also have to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £157 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The total of £634 must be paid by March 2 of this year.
He has also been disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 20 months.
This disqualification can be reduced by 20 weeks if Burton completes a course approved by the Secretary of State by March 14, 2024.
