A MAN from Chipping Norton has been found guilty of sexual assault.
Ergun Kesgin, from Middle Row, is to be sentenced after committing sexual assault.
The 43-year-old, who had pleaded not guiLty, was found to have touched a woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, in a sexual manner without consent, or without a reasonable belief of consent.
The incident happened on March 3 of last year in Shefford, Bedfordshire.
Kesgin was convicted on January 13 of this year but the case has now been adjourned as a Turkish interpreter is required.
He has been remanded on conditional bail until the next hearing on March 20 at Luton Magistrates’ Court.
Until such time he must live and sleep at his home address in order to ensure his appearance and to prevent offending.
He must also not contact the victim and has to register with St Aldates Police Station in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
