Three men have been arrested following a string of roadside muggings in Shipston.
Warwickshire Police arrested three men this morning, aged 20, 28 and 30, on suspicion of blackmail.
The arrests come following a series of similar incidents at a layby on the A429 Fosse Way close to Darlingscott crossroads.
In each incident the victim had parked up in the early evening before being subjected to abusive comments and threatened.
They were then made to provide a quantity of money.
As of midday on Thursday, February 9, all three men remain in police custody.
