FOREST Green Rovers crashed out of the FA Cup following a 2-1 loss to Birmingham City.
The New Lawn Stadium hosted the third-round tie which had an attendance of 3701 fans, 2603 home fans and 1,098 away fans.
The game saw a two-goal comeback from the blues in the second half to progress to the next round.
Midfielder Ben Stevenson’s 25-yard strike opened the scoring in the eighth minute of the game.
Blues' first goal came from Jutkiewicz, who slotted it into the bottom left corner from the edge of the box in the fiftieth minute.
The second goal came 15 minutes later when Kevin Long scored from a loose ball inside the box following a corner.
This was just the third time in the history of Forest Green Rovers of reaching the third round.
Birmingham City progress onto the fourth round of the FA Cup, where they will face fellow Championship club Blackburn Rovers away from home.
Forest Green Rovers' next game will be played on Saturday, January 21 against MK Dons in Football League One.
Both sides are looking to move out of the relegation zone, with MK Dons sitting twenty-second and Forest Green Rovers at the very bottom in twenty-fourth.
