Four vehicles have been involved in a "serious" crash in the Cotswolds.
Gloucestershire Constabulary has advised motorists to avoid the area following a collision involving multiple vehicles on the B4425 Cirencester to Burford Road.
Emergency services were called to reports of a crash near Aldsworth shortly after 12.45pm today, Friday December 2.
Just before 3pm, police released a statement urging drivers to find alternative routes.
The road was expected to remain closed for "a number of hours" while emergency services dealt with the situation.
According to the AA, as of 7.40pm, there are still delays on the B4425 in both directions.
