A five-star restaurant, hotel and chippy in Broadway has new owners.
Russell’s of Broadway on the village’s high street has been sold for around £2 million.
The popular hotel has been purchased by a former architect, Roger Dudley, who also owns The Man Cave next door to Russell's.
Mr Dudley is planning to make minor improvements but is largely looking to continue building the hotel’s reputation and hopes to establish it as one of the best in the Cotswolds.
He said: “Purchasing Russell’s was always a dream of ours.
“We love the building and the outstanding food which is lovingly created there.
“Broadway has a friendly community, it’s wonderful, and the High Street and Village Green have a unique charm and that’s exactly why we’ve moved there.”

The hotel has seven letting rooms, one-bedroom staff accommodation, and 22 car parking spaces.
Meanwhile, the five-star restaurant covers 60 people and boasts two Rosettes.
It features a bar, a private dining room and an additional 32-covers in the front courtyard.
Also included in the sale was the neighbouring Russell’s Fish and Chips shop, seating a further 26 covers.
The previous owners, Andrew and Gaynor Riley originally bought Russell’s of Broadway, which serves modern British cuisine, in 2004.
Mr Riley extended the original Grade-II listed honey-coloured stone building, which in part dates to the early 18th century, to add additional bedrooms in 2006.
In 2012 he purchased the fish and chip takeaway and combined the two businesses.
After 18 successful years, Mr Riley has sold the business to explore new opportunities.
The new owner, Mr Dudley, has kept much of the same staff.
"It is a good business built up over 18 years by Andrew Riley,” he said.
“The team at Russell’s are like a family, they are always happy.
“Tom (Wood) is still in charge as the MD, he has managed the business for many years and Chef Jorge is outstanding.
"He has a team of four other Chefs who are quite young and very talented, the food at Russell’s is an art form, all of it is fresh and of the best quality.
“The menus are created by Tom and Jorge. We have just recently added a new and exclusive wine list, stocking a few vintages for the enthusiast, some bottles costing over £2000."

While the exact sale price has not been revealed, Russell’s was marked by Colliers estate agents for £2,250,000.
Peter Brunt from Colliers' hotels agency team said: “Russell’s of Broadway is a thriving high street business in what is arguably one of the most prestigious markets in The Cotswolds.
"The two eateries and hotel are incredibly unique, but complement each other well, and has been particularly beneficial over the last two years of disruption to the leisure market.
"It was a pleasure to be a part of the sale and I wish Roger all the best in his new chapter at Russell’s.”
