A fireworks display in the Cotswolds has been cancelled due to safety concerns.
The Fox Inn in Broadwell was not able to hold its bonfire event this week due to the "dangerous" weather.
With the rain pouring down, the pub announced the decision via social media on the morning of the event.
A staff member said: "Due to the adverse weather forecast for this evening we have unfortunately had to postpone the bonfire and fireworks display.
"The safety of the public is paramount and therefore the fireworks organisers do not consider it to be safe as high winds and torrential rain is due this evening."
The event has now been rearranged for next week, on Tuesday, November 8.
"Apologies for the postponement of last night but we think you will agree it was the right call given the weather!" added the pub staff member.
"We look forward to seeing you next week folks!"
