A CYCLIST has died after being "thrown" from his bike whilst riding in the Cotswolds
Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist died in Mickleton over the weekend.
At around 9:35am on Sunday, September 25, a man in his 50s was riding a carbon and green bike along Hill Crest when it left the road close to the junction with Granbrook Lane.
Warwickshire Police say the man was then "thrown" from his bike and suffered "fatal injuries", despite the best efforts of West Midlands Ambulance Service.
The cyclist's next of kin has been informed and specialist police officers are now providing support to the family.
Police enquiries are still ongoing however officers are looking to speak with anyone who saw the incident or was in the area and has dashcam footage.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Warwickshire Police quoting incident number 136 of 25 September.
