BLOCKLEY Sports were crowned Cutler Division Three champions of the Stratford and District Alliance after a 3-1 Easter Saturday defeat of Claverdon.
Matthew Mitchell gave the visitors the lead but the match was all-square at half-time when Arthur Payne netted. However, second half strikes from Stephen Cross and Gary Fisher ensured victory and the championship for the Sparmoor outfit.
Eight teams from the section locked horns in the League Cup competition and the four ties produced an amazing 36 goals.
Alcester Town led the way with a round dozen in a 12-4 thrashing of Quinton's second string with Adam Dipple scoring four times and Michael Hodgetts a hat-trick.
Nathan and Callum Davies both netted twice as Inkberrow won 7-1 at Tysoe, while Jack Snell was another two-goal star as Stratford Celtic edged out Snitterfield 4-2.
The other game needed extra-time and penalties after Henley Forest A and Red Alert had shared six goals with the former winning the shoot-out 4-2.
The two matches to take place in Herald Division Two both resulted in away wins with Henley Reserves winning 2-0 at Studley and FISSC Reserves taking the points after a 2-1 success at Badsey Rangers.
Three Nursing Home Cup clashes also provided plenty of scoring action with defen-ces being breached 19 times.
Daniel Hodgkins bagged a hat-trick as Bidford won 4-2 at Ilmington, while Paul Jones and Matty Staley both netted twice as Bretforton Old Boys won 5-3 at Quinton for whom Mark Morrey matched the winning side's two-goal men.
Jermaine Pryce also found the net twice when helping Kenilworth Town to a 4-1 victory over Seven Stars.
