MORE than 150 primary school children attended an Inter-School Tag Rugby event last Friday held for the Cotswold Schools Sports Partnership.
The tournament took place at Oddington Road, home of Stow RUFC, where Year 10 pupils from the Cotswold School in Bourton-on-the-Water gave out coaching and advice prior to the action getting under way and then assumed refereeing duties.
There followed a series of exciting and closely-fought matches between the mixed teams who totted up a host of tries in the high scoring event.
Stow Primary School were crowned Division A winners, just pipping Cold Aston, while Temple Guiting B were tops in Division B with Bourton B in second place.
Bourton A were awarded the Fair Play Trophy after what proved to be a most successful day's entertainment.
