Mickleton back in top flight after Cider held

ONLY three games survived the weather last weekend when Offenham Rovers, winners four years ago, reached the final of the Evesham Mechanical Services Subsidiary Cup.

They progressed after a penalty shoot-out win over Eckington after the two sides had shared two goals in the first half with Adamson scoring for Rovers and Stevens for Eckington.

Cider Mill's draw at home to Inkberrow means Mickleton Rangers are guaranteed promotion back to Division One after a two- year absence.

Sunday's hosts shared six goals with the visitors with Mill netting courtesy of Hillyard, Milward and Mitchell with Inkberrow replying through Read, Algar and Baker.

Bredon have just two games to secure their survival in the second division following a 6-2 defeat against Oddfellows Arms.

Scott Sears netted a treble, for the winners with Rignall, Uren and Reading adding to the total. Bredon replied with a brace from Lee Diamond.
