SLAUGHTERS United Cricket Club will be running under-11, 13 and 15 teams this season and are inviting all past and new members to join them.
Training for the under-15s takes place on Wednesdays evenings from 6pm starting on April 2.
The under-11s and 13s will be in action on Fridays from 6pm starting on April 4.
Last year the under-13 and 15 teams both won the District Cups and continued success is hoped for in 2008.
Lottery grants over the winter have allowed the club to buy new artificial nets and a bowling machine.
Anyone is welcome to attend the nets and application forms can either be obtained from schools, the club website at www.slaughterscricket.co.uk, Paul Heming on 07748 965227 or just turn up at a training session.
The club's senior cricket side, currently playing in the Gloucestershire County league Division Three, also invite new players to join this friendly village club.
Senior training takes place on Wednesdays evenings from 6pm from April 2 when all past and new players are welcome.
The club is also desperately seeking an umpire for some or all of their senior games on Saturday afternoons. Ring Paul on the above number if you can help.
