SILVER trophies and other valuables worth more than £11,000 have been stolen from a house in Great Wolford in the north Cotswolds last month.
The owner, a former event rider, won some of the trophies at the Badminton Horse Trials.
The stolen items include a solid silver horse and jockey trophy, presented to the owner at the world famous horse trials and a silver salver, which is engraved with the name of the owner.
Other awards include the "King Maker Midland Bank Novice Championships", an engraved point-to-point trophy in the form of a silver goblet and a silver Stilton cheese spoon, which features a mouse on the handle.
Also taken in the burglary, which took place on Thursday February 21, are two antique jade birds.
Anyone who has seen the stolen items or who has been offered items for sale is asked to contact DC Matt Jones at Stratford Police Station on 01789 414111 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
