POLICE investigating Friday night's fatal road accident in Gloucestershire on Friday night which claimed seven lives and left two children critically ill, are appealing for the driver of a large vehicle seen in the area at the time to come forward.
A tanker-type' vehicle, which is described as being dark in colour with some type of pattern on it, is known to have been on the A429 in the area of the crash at the time it occurred.
Officers are very keen to speak to the driver and anyone else who might have been in the vehicle as they may valuable information to help their investigation.
They are also keen to hear from anyone who can help them trace this vehicle.
Seven people died in the crash on the A429 between Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold and near to the Broadwell turning at about 9.20pm on Friday, March 7.
The seventh victim was the 34-year-old woman from Stow who was a rear seat passenger in VW Passat and who died in hospital on Saturday evening.
