CONCERNS were growing today for a missing man from Cropthorne, near Evesham, who has not been seen for more than two days.
Richard Grantham, from Sunnyside, did not return home from working in Gloucestershire on Tuesday.
The 40-year-old was due to leave Northcot Brick Ltd in Blockley, where he worked as a maintenance engineer, at about 5pm but did not leave until around 8pm when he would have been on foot or got a lift in a vehicle.
Sgt Stuart Hawkeswood said: "We are growing very concerned over the welfare of Mr Grantham. He has never been missing before and this behaviour is out of character.
"His wife and family are very worried as they have not seen him for more than two days.
"We would ask anyone who has been in contact or seen Mr Grantham since the time he went missing to contact us immediately.
"We would also like to hear from anyone who recognises the description of Mr Grantham and has seen him in the areas where he works or his home over the last two days."
Mr Grantham was thought to be wearing jeans and a blue top when he went missing although he could have been wearing a boiler-type overall over the top of his clothes.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact Sgt Hawkeswood on 08457 444 888 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
