Cheltenham Saras 0, Broadway Utd U-13s 3

BROADWAY made hard work of overcoming opponents who played a lot better than their league position shows.

Charlie Stock opened the scoring midway through the first half with a long-range effort into the top corner.

Broadway then missed more chances before Sean Cooke rifled a shot into the roof of the net from close-range before half time.

The defence of Luis Sone, Ben Hoskins, Luke McDonagh and John Carter kept Saracens at bay while the move of the match ended with Connor Hensey smashing the ball in from six yards line following Cooke's cross.

Broadway visit Churchdown Panthers Colts on Sunday (2.30).

ROVERS completed their season with a win against opponents who started the better of the two sides but couldn't get past an inspired Tommy Brown in the home goal.

Bourton took the lead when the away keeper miskicked a clearance that fell to Toby Crammen who duly smashed the ball into a empty net from 15 yards.

it was soon 2-0 when Jimmy Robb's long pass found Alex Winter unmarked in the box. His first shot was well saved but he made no mistake with the follow-up.

Chesterton kept pressing after the interval and pulled a goal back after a mix-up in the Bourton penalty area.

Both sides kept attacking in an end to end game but it was Bourton who got the killer third goal when Robb's corner was headed home by Jack Roberts for his first goal for the club.

The home side made wholesale changes for the last five minutes when Chesterton pulled another goal back but Bourton held firm to register their first win in five games.

p>Chipping Norton Tn Swifts U-10 2, Steeple Aston & Barton Jnrs 0

CHIPPY named an unchanged team from the excellent win at Moreton the previous week.

Kaleb Cooper stayed in goal, Daniel Lay and Shaun Kemp were in defence with Josh Allen, in form duo Dan Newman and Matty Lewis in midfield and Jack William-Sharkey in attack.

Good movement and passing ended with shots from Newman, Lewis and Williams-Sharkey going wide and high.

After Steeple had forced a good save from Cooper, Chippy cleared the ball and Newman picked up a good pass from Kemp and sent a beautiful cross into the box for Williams-Sharkey to slot home.

Chippy substitute Abie Bailey took up the left-hand side of midfield in place of Allen and showed good strength to win the ball before passing to player of the match Lewis who lofted an excellent ball for Williams-Sharkey to net his second.

Swifts were unlucky not to score again through Lewis before more pressure from Steeple forced more good defensive play and Cooper kept a deserved clean sheet.

p>Bampton Tn 2, Hook Norton U-11 6

HOOKY started well and Will Hardy soon fired in the opener.

However, Bampton equalised after a defensive lapse but, with half-time approaching, Josh Hunt's run and cross was met by Hardy and he powered his header into the net.

Luke Syminton produced a brilliant point-blank save to deny Bampton an equaliser before Hooky stepped up a gear and an own goal made it 3-1.

Hardy then completed a fine hat trick before Bampton made it 4-2 after which player of the match Hunt scored two late goals to wrap up a comfortable success.
