CHIPPING Norton School's Ben Chapman is on course for a place at the prestigious National Swimming Championships.
The Year Nine pupil competed in the 400m freestyle at the Swansea Dragon Open meeting where he clocked four minutes 24.10 seconds which was two seconds inside the national qualifying time.
The teenager is now working towards the South East Regionals where he will be hoping to improve his time ahead of the Nationals.
