MEMBERS of Shipston High School Rocket Club have succeeded in their bid to reach the UK finals of a national rocketry competition.
The boys aged 12 to 14 achieved a height of 515ft with their home made and designed rocket, gaining a place in the final 20 of the UK Rocketry Association competition.
They will now compete against other schools later this month (march) at the UK final at Charterhouse School.
The winning team will represent the UK against United States schools at a compeition in Great Plains, Virginia later this year.
