A COTSWOLDS folk music festival was back on song this year.
The Celts in the Cotswolds festival reverted back to its familiar two-night format attracting an estimated audience of 450 people to Norgren Social Club in Shipston last Friday and Saturday evenings.
Last year the festival, which was due to takes its final bow in 2006, was resurrected as a smaller one-night festival after organiser Sue Finlay was persuaded to carry on.
An exhausted Sue said after this year's event that it had gone very well.
"We had a good turn out. There must have been 450 people over the weekend and the attendance at the workshops was excellent. They get more popular each year," she said.
Among the workshops held last Saturday were fiddle, bodhran, guitar, whistle, accordion, flute and Breton and Appalachian clog dancing.
