LATEST action in the WCB Indoor Cricket League saw comfortable victories for Overbury and Dumbleton.
The former scored 120-2 in reply to Harvington's challenging 119-5 - a total helped by the efforts of Dave Waters and John Coleman who scored at eight runs per over.
However, they were pegged back by Dave Westmore and Ali Munro and three wickets were lost in the final over.
David Haynes and Jamie Munro set about the chase in confident mood and at ten runs per over and it was left to brother Ali Munro to blast a rapid 26 that hurried Overbury to victory.
Boxmen openers David Lawrence and Pete Green struggled against a hostile Bertie Thompson who only conceded 14 runs off his three overs to give Dumbleton a fine start.
Mike Gibson was easier to get away and conceded 36 off his three but Dumbleton were left to 101 for victory - a target they achieved with few alarms thanks to the efforts of Pete Boorman, Matt Nicholson and Liam Bricknall.
