Visitors can take in the sight of around 100,000 sunflowers at a Cotswold farm.
The Sunflower Festival began yesterday at the Cotswold Farm Park.
In June, the attraction in Guiting Power sowed 5,000m2 with seeds, which has produced around 100,000 flowers now in peak bloom.
Owner, and celebrity farmer, Adam Henson was delighted with the results.
He said: “I couldn’t be prouder of our sunflowers!
“The flowers will not only be enjoyed by our visitors but will also become an important source of pollen and nectar for our wildlife as so many of our wider farmland’s flowers haven’t survived due to the drought.”
From Tuesday, August 16, the sunflower field will be open each day from 11am to 5pm, with guests also able to enjoy the farm’s maize maze and wildflower display.
