Visa issues have forced some last-minute changes to the line-up of a Cotswold festival.
Guiting Power Music Festival is in full swing, with the war in Ukraine set to take centre stage tomorrow.
Fantasia Orchestra were due to be joined by Russian violinist Alena Baeva for a show to raise money for humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
However, festival organisers have now been informed that Alena has not been granted a visa in time, despite applying for it in February.
Fortunately, her husband, award-winning Ukrainian pianist Vadym Kholodenko has agreed to fly over as her replacement.
Instead of the planned Brahms Violin Concerto, Vadym will join the orchestra to perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto No.5 “Emperor”.
The Guiting Power Music Festival, in its 51st year, is being held in a 220-seater marquee on the playing field behind Guiting Power Village Hall and began last Friday, July 22.
The festival runs until Sunday, July 31, and further information, including the full line-up, can be found here.
