The cause of death of a cyclist who died on a Cotswold roadside has been revealed.
The biker, a man in his 60s and from Cheltenham, was found injured on the B4632 Cleeve Hill on Saturday night.
Despite the best efforts of public and emergency services, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gloucestershire Constabulary then launched an appeal to try and establish what happened, the results of which have now been confirmed.
A spokesperson for the police said: “It’s now been established that no other vehicles were involved and the man sustained his injuries after falling from the bicycle.
"No arrests have been made.”
