Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after an injured cyclist died on the roadside in the Cotswolds.
The cyclist, a man in his 60s and from Cheltenham, was found on the B4632 Cleeve Hill on Saturday night, with police called at 9:20pm.
Despite the efforts of members of the public and emergency services, the man was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin have been informed.
The main road was then closed between Gambles Lane and Southam until mid-morning on Sunday, July 17.
Now, collision investigators are working to establish what happened and whether any other vehicles were involved.
Police are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed what happened or saw any cyclists travelling down Cleeve Hill at around that time.
Officers would also like to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage or witnessed a crash.
Information can be reported online or by calling 101, quoting incident 482 of July 16.
