COTSWOLDS farmer and celebrity Adam Henson has taken to social media to issue a passionate plea for people to not litter.
The 56-year-old Countryfile presenter has urged people to think about their actions when it comes to the environment in a video posted to his 43,000 followers on Instagram.
The star was walking around Cotswold Farm Park when he spotted a deflated helium balloon on his fence.
In the video, posted as an Instagram story, Mr Henson says: "I hate to be a grumpy old farmer, and I know I've posted about these things before, but have a look at this.
"There is a balloon - somebody has obviously had a lovely party, filled it up with helium, thought it would be a wonderful thing to watch it blow away up into the sky.
"But please spare a thought for where it might end up. Out in the ocean, crossing the fields, littering the countryside.
"We are all trying to move away from plastics, and then people are still filling up balloons and letting them blow away into the wind.
"It's just crazy, please stop doing it."
The Lambing Live presenter also recently announced a role away from the BBC with his brand new YouTube series based at Cotswold Farm Park.
