Trains had to be stopped after a group of cyclists broke a railway crossing barrier in the Cotswolds.
The cyclists tried to lift the barrier at Paxford Level Crossing before throwing their bikes over, police have confirmed.
Police say they have been unable to locate the cyclists.
A tweet from Cotswolds Police read: "We have attended a broken barrier at Paxford Level Crossing where a group of cyclists have tried to lift the barrier.
"They have thrown their bikes over and all trains have been put on STOP.
"We were unable to find them to let them know how dangerous this was.
"Barrier is now working."
