A man who damaged property and assaulted two people in Chipping Norton is to face a trial this week.

Christopher Taylor, 33 of Warwick Road in Banbury, has been charged with three counts of criminal damage and two of common assault, all occurring on July 26 last year.

Taylor damaged property at Horsefair in Chipping Norton belonging to West Oxfordshire District Council.

He also damaged a black BMW and a property on Walterbush Road, both belonging to a Mark Henly.

Taylor was also charged with assaulting Mr Henly, as well as an Abbie Henly.

On July 28 he pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.

He will appear at Oxford Magistrates Court on Thursday, March 10, for the trial.
