Demand for Cotswold property is far exceeding the supply, says a local estate agent.
Cotswold property specialists, Butler Sherborn, say that properties are attracting dozens of viewing requests within hours of being listed.
Senior partner Sam Butler said: “Demand continues to outstrip supply across the Cotswolds by a very high margin.
“One property recently attracted 65 viewing requests within 48 hours of being launched, this resulted in eight good offers and consequently sold very quickly and over the asking price.
“We aren’t expecting demand to diminish any time soon, so now might be a particularly good time to move.”
Here are six properties that recently hit the market.
5 The Old Brewery, Priory Lane, Burford, Oxfordshire, OX18 4SG - £525,000
Just off Burford High Street, Butler Sherborn say this first floor apartment with lift access would be the ideal “lock-up and leave Cotswold bolt-hole”.
Part of The Old Brewery, the property was completed in 2019 and is one of seven modern apartments within a gated courtyard.
The main living area offers an open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room with double doors at one end to a balcony which overlooks the courtyard.
The apartment features two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bath and shower rooms, as well as a parking space and outside, lockable, storage.
