Police in the Cotswolds have been warning drivers of potentially unsafe vehicles.
On Thursday Cotswold Neighbourhood Policing Team joined up with the DVSA and Cotswold District Council to carry out vehicle checks on two main roads in the Cotswolds.
A total of 41 vehicles were stopped checked whilst driving along the A417 and A436.
Of these 41, two were handed prohibition notices, meaning the vehicle could be taken off the road.
A further three vehicles were given defect warning notices, giving the owner a set amount of time to fix a fault.
During the operation, the Cotswold District Council also issued three waste infringement notices, which can relate to littering, fly tipping, graffiti and other similar offences.
